The Sith are a seemingly unstoppable armada of heavily-armed soldiers bent on the destruction of the Republic. No one knows how the leader of the Sith, Darth Malak, amassed such a mighty force. Besides an impressive force of soldiers, several dark Jedi have also joined the Sith. Most of them hold high positions.
The Republic are helpless against the Sith. Their forces are low on morale, they have only a handful of fleets left, and the Jedi have been forced into hiding on Datooine. Despite defeat after defeat, the Republic has no choice but to continue fighting or risk being completely wiped out by the Sith.
