Coruscant is the capital planet for the Empire. It is heavily defended by space fleets and ground armies. Members of the Rebellion never last long here.

A desert planet inhabited by Tuskan raiders and passive Jawas. The one of the most significant town on this planet is Mos Eisley. There are several farms on the outskirts of it, however.

An abandoned swamp planet shrouded in mist and mystery.

A jungle planet near the edge of the galaxy. The ruins of an old Jedi Academy lay deep within it, where a large Rebel presence is located at.

A remote planet with many forests and beaches. It is home to the Wookies, a race of beast-like warriors that make their homes inside the forests. They're under constant attack by the Empire.

Another forest planet. The Ewoks are hidden on it. They are small creatures, but are fierce warriors if trifled with.

Cloud City is a covert tibanna gas mining colony that floats around the planet Bespin.

Kashyyk was the lush, wroshyr-tree-filled home planet of the Wookiees.

Utapau was composed of a small molten metallic core, with a rocky mantle and rocky calcerous crust. Surface water made up only 0.9% of the planet, although most significantly, a vast subterranean ocean encircled the planet below the crust. The planet is arid and wind swept.

Jabiim was a world deluged by torrential rains, experiencing less than five days per standard year without precipitation. Its muddy surface constantly shifted from the weight of the rains.

Muunilist is a large tropical planet with dense jungles and several large oceans. It also had many mountains and volcanoes.

Geologically, the planet comprised a molten core with rocky mantle and silicate rock crust. The entire surface of Coruscant had been covered over throughout the thousands of generations of galactic history by sprawling mile-high skyscrapers and cities, and boasting a population of over a hundred billion to several trillion, depending on the era. The new jedi Order and Academy is located here.

Dagobah was a harsh, humid, swampy planet, mostly covered in shallow marshland, interspersed with stifling forests. There were very few truly open bodies of water on the planet: the water supply was thinly invested throughout the planet's main habitat, swampland, although there were vast expanses of mud fields.

Geonosis is a large planet that has an asteroid belt surrounding it. Its terrain is dirt ridden and is very harsh. The planet has seen no military activity.

Yavin 4 was composed of a molten metallic core with a thick, immobile low-relief silicate crust. The surface was made up of four continents which accounted for sixty-seven percent of the moon's surface. These continents were mostly covered in large sprawling tropical jungles with tall canopies though there were also a few mountain ridges dominated by volcanoes.

Dantooine is very similar to Tatooine. It is covered in grasslands and hills. A secret academy for Jedi was built here after the Sith arrived.

Nar Shaddaa is an urban planet infested with criminals, smugglers, and Sith. On the bright side, the heavy crime presence also provides a wealth of jobs.

A barren place occupied by Sith apprentices. The tomb of the Sith master, Naga Shadow, is located here, alongside many others.

Manaan is a neutral planet owned by a race of fish-like creatures known as the Selkath. Kolto, a mineral used for healing, can be found in the oceans of Manaan.

The once proud Wookie race has been enslaved by slave trading factions. Only a handful of free Wookies remain here.

Dxun is a moon hovering over Onderon. On the forest planet are the last of the Mandalorians, a race of savage humanoid warriors that nearly destroyed the galaxy. They don't take kindly to visitors.

Onderon is a Republic-controlled planet. It faces a threat besides the Sith; civil war. The rebels, lead by General Vaklu, are waging war with the queen of Onderon, Queen Talia.
