The fact that they have no say in it makes the RP more realistic, so long as the person on the giving end of the post remains realistic himself. In RERPG, posts of that nature might be considered immoral.. but it isn't a problem here. Let me put it this way... if a soldier under the command of a sergeant was in a battlefield and had a rifle shot at him at pointblank range, would it make sense for the sergeant to effectively stop time, think about the bullet's lasting repercussions, and then proceed to bat the bullet out of the way while it was hanging in midair? Granted, I don't think extremely important NPCs should be killed, namely those with names... since they're technically characters. Delta, think about Jim and Gordon as extremely important NPCs.

If these issues become more common, I'll make a rule for them, but for now, I don't see any point in it. Just bring in some new AT-STs.
